1. System Login Information​

The table below provides the default login usernames and passwords for different system versions:

Tip

  1. Run sudo -i in the terminal to switch to the root login environment for system-level operations. This starts a login shell as root; when finished, run exit to leave.

  2. By default, the root user cannot log in via SSH. Edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config, set PermitRootLogin yes, then restart the sshd service.
